Guro RICK TUCCI is a 4th level instructor in Maphilindo Silat under Guro Dan Inosanto. Guro Tucci is one of a select few in the US certified by Guro Dan Inosanto to teach the art. Tucci is a Full Instructor in Pentjak Silat Bukti Negara under Pendekar Agung Paul of Thouars. He is also Guro in Mande Muda Pencak Silat under Pendekar Herman Suwanda.

MAPHILINDO SILAT There are literally hundreds of Silat systems in Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia. These combat arts were designed for survival in real combat, not sport. Because of this, instructors have been very strict about who they pass these arts to. Maphilindo Silat was created by Guro Dan Inosanto to honor his instructors of the many silat systems he studied.

Guro Tucci teaches timing drills, entrances, elbow, knee and hand strikes in close proximity. Like using the hand and foot traps, he sweeps, throws and shuts off Maphilindo Silat’s balance levers.
