Description
Pukulan Pencak Silat Serak is a very brutal and devastating art. The Arts concept is to dominate and dominate the battlefield and space, quickly dominating space and swallowing opponents to prevent them from being able to use their weapons or body.
Once space is acquired, base and angle are used to control the opponent’s spin or throw, rooting or unrooting is produced from the slightest expression of touch or angle and base position, which we call of “Lengket” or sticky. Standing very close to opponents when attacking or using a weapon and putting opponents in the “Slywa” or weightless stage of spinal and muscular misalignment.
Once rooting takes place, the attack makes massive contact on the body that has no muscular or skeletal protection. “Sambuts” are finishes, meaning something very difficult to avoid, especially when neck or spine compression, so finish means it’s done.
The opposite of this is a “Buang” which means less devastating plays at beginner levels, but taught to learn mechanics that in later stages of student or practitioner development can be modified to “Sambuts” for devastating plays. Compress skeletal structure, weapons and body structures or strikes, grab defense and attack are all played and studied on our platforms.

This platform teaches you where to be in a striker position, the platform is three dimensional and teaches you where the opponent’s body alignments are the weakest to the platform’s point of contact.
