Naginata and Kumidashi Kihon
The Naginata is a traditional weapon used by samurai in medieval Japan, resembling a spear with a curved blade. Its practice is similar to that of the Katana and, as it is shorter than the Yari, it allows for more attacks and defenses and can be dealt with very quickly and efficiently.
In this new DVD, Master Akeshi shows in detail the 20 Kumidashi Naginata and the 5 Kumidashi Kihon, these to create a bridge between the Naginata and the Katana and highlight the similarities between the two.
