This video covers the foundational techniques of Doce Pares Eskrima’s advanced level. You’ll be introduced to a variety of stick drills, including Pingki Pingki with one or two sticks, as well as coordination exercises. The drills are designed to prepare you for sparring with a stick, starting with controlled sparring and progressing to shapes 3 and 4. The video also demonstrates Doce Pares Tapi-Tapi techniques, both with and without a stick, as well as unarmed techniques and controlled sparring without a stick.

Danny Guba and Percival Pableo are the instructors featured in this video. Danny Guba, who began his martial arts journey in 1964, trained under Grandmasters Cacoy Canete and Momoy Canete before studying with Grão Mestre Dionísio Canete from 1986 onwards. He boasts an impressive record, being a 5-time Filipino champion and the current world champion in Full Contact Eskrima. Danny Guba is a Senior Instructor of the Doce Pares System and currently holds the 9th Dan in Doce Pares.

Percival Pableo, on the other hand, started practicing martial arts in the early 1980s and achieved the title of world champion in full contact Eskrima in 1985. He is also a Senior Instructor and currently holds the 9th Dan in Sweet Peers.
