The technique of the upper and lower position is very important, but it is not worked on very much in practice. Coach Douglas presents some simple but effective techniques that will help you control your position. He starts with the top position, teaching the 180° Breakdown, introducing the technique and drills to get the opponent down on the mat. In the last position, Douglas focuses on the sit-out. It also covers a switch and rolls into a sit-out.
