The late BRUCE LEE is still the most famous martial artist of all time, but in addition to his movie star status, he was also one of the foremost martial arts innovators of this century. After years of study in Wing Chun, Thai Boxing, Karate, American Boxing and countless other arts, Lee synthesized the martial art of Jun Fan Gung Fu and the philosophical system he called Jeet Kune Do. The system constantly evolved until his death in 1973.
Lee promoted only three students as instructors in Jeet Kune Do and Jun Fan: James Lee, Dan Inosanto and Taky Kimura. Since Sifu Lee’s death, Sifus Inosanto and Kimura are the only documented living instructors under Bruce Lee’s command.
