Discover an evolving and comprehensive fighting/self-defense system you can be a part of! A fusion of MMA, JKD, FMA, BJJ, and RAT, our system melds graceful movements with explosive power. Functional training both standing and on the floor is integrated.
Our complete JKD curriculum and distinctive teaching approach, known as Kai-Shin Jeet Kune Do, emphasize practical self-defense and the character-building philosophies of traditional martial arts. We achieve this by cross-training in modern martial arts and embracing traditional martial arts philosophies to nurture both body and mind.
We cover five aspects of empty-handed martial arts training and teach how to integrate and utilize them effectively:
- Deception
- Clinching
- Manipulation
- Hand Trapping
- Ground Fighting
We explore concepts and principles from diverse martial arts cultures, including Filipino, Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian, Brazilian, Okinawan, Chinese, and Japanese traditions. The Kai-Shin curriculum draws from seven main systems:
- MUAY THAI – Thai Boxing
- JUN FAN GUNG FU – Bruce Lee’s Art
- WING CHUN – Ip Man’s Art
- PANANTUKAN – Kali / Filipino Martial Arts
- SILAT – Maphilindo & Madjapahit Martial Arts
- COMBAT SUBMISSION WRESTLING – Erik Paulson
- BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU – Gracie & Machado Families
Exposure to a variety of tactics enables individuals to capitalize on their strengths while addressing their weaknesses. This approach accommodates diverse body types and ages.
Our objective is NOT to homogenize our students; instead, we empower them to develop according to their unique body types and understand how to apply the underlying principles tailored to their individual abilities.
