At the core of our system lies Krabi Krabong. Originating from the KK Thai military weaponry system, Muay Thai kickboxing emerged as a ring sport derivative. Centered around swords, double swords, staffs, spears, Mai sowks, and various other weapons, KK embodies aggression, primal instincts, and intense power—qualities perfectly aligned with DBMA. However, there’s more to it than mere combat prowess—it seamlessly integrates into DBMA’s internal logic.

Co-founder Dog Brothers Arlan “Salty Dog” Sanford boasts extensive training in Thailand, particularly at the renowned Buddaiswan Institute, earning the title of “Ajarn” (akin to the Filipino term “Guro”) in KK. Ajarn Salty has rigorously tested his KK skills in countless dog brother fights, producing high-quality fighters. His influence is evident in the material that shapes us all.
