Wide to medium distance change
Leader disarms

Green Belt Program:

Distance change medium to short: 3 Punyo (butt) techniques for both right and left hands
Reverse block fan (right and left)
Hand changes at all three distances
Disarming approaches (all known series) with continuation of the drill

Blue Belt Program:

Butt-fint fan – right
Butt-fint fan – left
Free hand technique: Retreat to the corner with right hand
4 stick padlocks

Brown Belt Program:

4 stick trappings according to Prof. Fang’s methods
2 pins in the corner (driver with left hand)

About the Author: Grandmaster Datu Dieter Knüttel, who holds a Master’s degree in Sport Science, serves as the Modern Arnis Chief Instructor for Germany’s DAV and was the Modern Arnis European Representative (1996-2001) of Professor Remy A. Presas. He was honored with the title of DATU and the rank of Lakan Anim, 6th Dan Modern Arnis by Professor Remy Presas in 1996, making him the fourth person out of six and the only one outside the US to receive this prestigious title. In 2016, he was publicly announced as the recipient of the 10th Dan, Lakan Sampu, by Grandmaster Roberto Presas, 10th Dan Modern Arnis. Dieter Knuettel has been actively involved in Filipino martial arts since 1978 and has conducted FMA/Modern Arnis seminars since 1980 across Europe, Australia, the USA, Russia, and the Philippines. He is recognized as one of the most experienced Modern Arnis Masters in the world.
