In this video, the Modern Arnis expert Grand Master Cristino Vasquez, who holds a 10th Dan in Modern Arnis, shares insights about his Modern Arnis – Vasquez system. He covers various techniques and styles, including single stick, direct address, pit al, Dikitan, Dos Puntas, ipit pilipit, Sword and Dagger, Modified Sword and Dagger, Double-Sticks, Double stick against double stick Counterattacks Disarms, Single stick against double stick, Unarmed against double stick, Dulo Dulo (Palmstick), Single Attack – Counterattacks, Double Attack – Counterattacks, trapping and pins.

Grandmaster Christino Vasquez initiated his Modern Arnis training in 1964 under the guidance of GM Roberto Presas, supervised by GM Remy Presas. He holds the unique distinction of being the sole recipient of the 9th Dan rank from both GM Remy Presas and GM Ernesto Presas.

In July 2010, a panel comprising Filipino and Western grandmasters acknowledged his expertise by awarding him the prestigious 10th Dan. Sadly, Grandmaster Christino Vasquez passed away on July 24, 2015.
