On March 17, Chongmukwan Urk held its 25th anniversary with an international HKD seminar. master Ko Baek-yong (IHF 9 Dan). Master Ko Baek-yong was assisted by his son Ko Se-hwan (IHF fifth dan) and several NHF teachers. Participants from Dutch, Finland, Belgium, Germany and the United States had come to Urk to participate in this seminar.HANKIDO Seminar – 25 jaar Chongmukwan
Hankido is a Korean martial art developed by Grandmaster Myung Jae-nam. Master Ko Baek-yong is one of Grandmaster Myung’s most prominent disciples and has his own international training center in Seoul, called Sangmukwan. Master Ko Baek-yong was also accompanied by Master Yang Yong-seok (IHF 9 Dan) who was present as an official representative of the IHF.
Chongmukwan was founded in 1987. It is taught by a team of dedicated teachers in hapkido, hankido and hankumdo.
