Phil Motzer has worked hard to reduce and simplify combat pistol shooting to make it as lean, efficient and fast as possible. You can definitely tell he works with Kelly McCann.
His instructional style is very open, direct and opinionated. He tries to counter what he believes are the many myths promoted by other firearms instructors.

The Crucible is on the principle of keeping it simple, so when it drops, the person isn’t choosing an option. Rather, you must be taking action.

If you are used to military instructors, Mr. Motzer is extremely personable. I had no problems with his teaching style. I found him stubborn, wise and sometimes humorous.

He works at Crucible for a reason, and they teach people from many government agencies as well as Fortune 500 companies. You really can’t argue successfully.

Phil Motzer has impressive experience and credentials. It would be foolish to dismiss him without hearing what he has to say.

This program starts with the basics and progresses to a good range of intermediate and advanced topics.
